For those who may not be familiar with you yet, could you please introduce yourself and share a bit about who you are, both as an athlete and as a person?
My name is Mafalda Fernandes and I’m from Portugal. I'm a professional padel athlete with a passion for the sport. On the court, I'm focused, competitive, and fully committed to constant improvement. Off the court, I'm driven, grounded, and always striving for balance between my athletic career and personal life. I believe sport has the power not only to shape individuals but also to inspire and impact others in meaningful ways.
What would you say are your proudest moments or biggest achievements in your career so far?
One of the proudest moments of my career was finishing as runner-up in the National Padel Championship in Portugal. It was a rewarding experience that reflected all the hard work and dedication I had put in.
Another special moment was reaching the round of 16 at a Premier Padel tournament, it was an unforgettable feeling because I had trained so hard specifically for that opportunity. Moments like these remind me why I love this sport.
That said, I truly believe that every tournament and every match is important. Each one is a chance to learn, grow, and evolve, and I treat every experience on court as a valuable part of my journey.
